6. Has any of your peers observed you lately?
Yes. The other way around is equally important and valid as well.
Even if you are used to reflecting upon your practice, there are some small details that often go unnoticed. It may be something you say or perhaps a step in your lesson that could be delivered in a different way. Outsiders are usually more attentive observers, and their new perspectives should be more than welcome. After all, expert feedback is very constructive.
If possible, invite peers to observe your lesson regularly. Referring back to topic 4, good professionals have a lot to share – make the most of it.
Integrating tips 5 and 6: Invite a colleague to work on observations with you, and, together, exchange observation and feedback notes.
